# Gasless Swap

Gasless Swap lets you swap tokens from your **public wallet** without paying the swap gas in ETH.

{% hint style="info" %}
Gasless Swap (`/gasless`) is **live on Robinhood Chain Testnet** and listed in the app menu as **Gasless Swap**.

Open **Gasless Swap** from the app menu, or go to `/gasless`.
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
Gasless Swap is a **public swap** from your wallet, not a private one.

Your wallet, the tokens, the amounts and the pools used are visible on-chain.
{% endhint %}

### How It Works

1. Connect your wallet and open **Gasless Swap**.
2. Select the tokens and amount.
3. Review the quote, including the 0.5% VOID fee and the gas fee.
4. Sign the swap in your wallet.
5. The **VOID relayer** submits the swap and pays the network gas.

Swap gas is taken from the **token you receive**, so you do not need ETH for the swap itself.

### One-Time Approval

A token's first gasless swap needs a **one-time approval**.

* A wallet that holds enough ETH pays for the approval itself.
* The relayer covers the approval only for wallets with too little ETH. That cost is added to the gas fee of your next gasless swap.

### Fees

See **Gasless Swap Fees**.

{% hint style="info" %}
Gasless Swap is separate from relayed private transactions.

Private Buy, Private Sell, Private Send and Withdraw from your private balance are submitted by the VOID relayer.
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://void-protocol-2.gitbook.io/void-protocol-docs/user-guide/gasless-swap.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
